Some "good to know" facts:

1. general info, home race:
A home race will give you a slight increase in speed, and offer 50% more practice laps, so pick wisely. (Not on the first race of the season!!)

2. info about enginers advise:
brake bias: safe = fore, loose = aft

3. setup advice:
When testing, if the value says medium, Its best to start at 50.
If it is high, it's best to start at 76 or 84.
If it is low, it's best to start at 16 or 24. After doing each run, if a value needs to be changed, increase/decrease it by 8 each time until the gap is 8. After that, increase/decrease it by 4 and 2, then you will be spot on.

4. Tyre advice:
If you are going to use hard tyres in the race, its a good idea to use the soft tyres as well, but turn up the wet weather factor a bit. This is because the soft tyre always is alot better than the hard tyre when it's wet. Here are some settings I have found works really good:

New F1 series, LMES etc:
soft slick = 18% wet factor
hard slick = 0% wet factor
intermediate = 36% wet factor
wet = 90% wet factor

Old F1 series etc:
soft cut slick = 18% wet factor
hard cut slick = 0% wet factor
intermediate = 28% wet factor
wet = 54% wet factor
monsoon = 100% wet factor
